Terms and Conditions
1. You must have a valid UK Provisional License. If you do not have the required documents, you will not be able to proceed with lessons. A photo of your driver’s license will be taken to verify it is valid and to verify who you are. Please bring your provisional license to your first lesson. You must be fit to drive with regard to legal and medical requirements.
2. Payments are to be made upfront – before the lesson via our website, or cash in the car. Your payment secures the booking.
3. You have 14 days from your payment to request a full refund. Refunds within 14 days will be refunded minus any processing fees. If you want to amend or make changes to your booking after the 14-day cooling-off period, it will incur a £25 admin fee.
4. You are required to give a minimum of 24 hours’ notice should you wish to cancel a lesson(s), failing to meet the notice means you will be charged for the booked time. Mitigating circumstances do apply. Our driving Instructors will wait 30 minutes for students who are late or don’t show up for lessons. After this time, the lesson will be treated as canceled.
5. The instructor will not be held responsible for lesson cancellations due to mechanical breakdowns but will endeavour to find a replacement vehicle as soon as possible. In the event of a breakdown, your instructor will provide additional training, equal to the amount of time lost.
6. The instructor is entitled to withdraw the car for the usage of your test. The instructor will always give 1 week’s notice.
7. Training vehicles provided by the school are taxed, insured for the purposes of driving tuition, fully roadworthy, and fitted with dual controls.
Pupils who require tuition in their own vehicle must supply evidence from their motor insurer that the car is covered for lessons when being supervised by a professional instructor in return for payment; the car must also be taxed and hold a current MOT certificate where appropriate.
8. Face masks or coverings MUST be worn before entering the vehicle if the pupil shows symptoms of COVID-19/FLU/COLD.
9. Instructors can cancel lessons with a minimum of 2 Hours notice if they become unwell or show symptoms of COVID-19
10. The minimum lesson period is two hours. If, for any reason, the instructor is late for the lesson, he/she will make a concerted effort to inform the pupil of the estimated time of arrival. If the delay is greater than 15 minutes, this time will be credited to the pupil, and when possible, the lesson will be extended by the time due – if this is not possible, the extra time will be carried forward to the next suitable lesson.
11. All sessions will start and finish at the same location unless alternative arrangements are made in advance. The instructor will determine a suitable location for practical lessons, which ensures both the pupils’ and public’s safety. This means that the instructor may need to drive the pupil to and from the lesson location. This journey time forms part of the lesson as paid for.
12. Where a school car is used for a test, the booking period will be based on the instructor’s normal diary schedule. Depending on the time of the test, this will require a minimum two-hour booking and possibly longer.
13. While your instructor will make every effort to ensure that the vehicle supplied for the test will be fully roadworthy and comply with all legal requirements at the start of the test, he/she cannot be held responsible for vehicle failure that occurs during the test and are not liable for consequential loss.
14. Your instructor cannot be held responsible for test appointments cancelled by the DVSA due to bad weather, sickness, staff shortages, or other reasons. Such cancellations are beyond the control of your instructor and therefore the lesson fee and ‘use of car’ fee for the booked period will be charged.
15. Test fees are £150 for weekday tests & £160 for weekend tests to use our cars. This also helps to cover your insurance fees. We recommended 1.5 lessons before the test. (1hr drive & 30 minutes recap, mental preparation, toilet & relaxation) This is included in the test fee.
16. With our fast-track service, we will find you a driving test within 3 weeks. Once the test is booked, it cannot be changed without further charges. A £75 admin fee will be charged to move the date, this is if another student wishes to swap their date with yours. If no other student is available within our network, then we can only refund the £62 DVSA booking fee to you.
17. The people you refer in our Affiliate program must make payments by bank transfer at the moment, for you to get paid!
