Craig is honestly an outstanding driving instructor. I only had 15 hours of lessons with him however within that time he took me from not being able to drive to passing my test with 0 minor faults. He is incredibly patient and has never been one to lose his temper. He is also always focused on your lesson and will not let anything else distract him from giving you the best possible teaching.

Honestly one of the best driving instructor on the road. I did 18hrs Craig and passed my test my test on my second go. His way of teaching is very effective and impactful, he will address any small details and mistakes you make and takes down notes on what you did wrong making you the perfect driver. You feel so safe and comforted when you’re driving with him. Comparing from when I first started to now I have improved so much in my driving and Craig has made me feel so confident and fearless on the road. I had a lesson with another instructor before Craig and when I switched, I could immediately tell the difference in their quality of teaching. Craig was able to explain things at a good speed and he used helpful drills and exercises to get you comfortable with the car. Craig is unlike any other instructor i've used in the past. Calm, cool collected and thorough, he won't let a single mistake slide without addressing it and making sure you understand why it shouldn't be done. It was because of this diligence that I managed to unlearn all the bad habits I had acquired working with other instructors. Craig is an excellent driving instructor and I’d recommend anybody to use his services if you plan on passing your driving test! Craig’s teaching methods ensure that students feel comfortable behind the wheel and I personally always felt at ease during a lesson. Furthermore, Craig teaches students to drive SAFELY by themselves and anticipate the mistakes of other road users. This properly prepares learners for the roads and teaches good road awareness as well as good driving skill. Having initially been with another instructor before contacting Craig, these differences in teaching quality were even more evident and I had learnt more in a much shorter time-span with Craig than my previous instructor. I did an intensive driving course (40hrs in less than a month) with Craig and passed first time! Craig is a professional, excellent and natural teacher, who has a very calming and warm manner. He arrived to every lesson on time.. He explained everything in a thorough and easy-to-understand way and used diagrams to help. He had a genuine interest in making me the best driver I could be and not just teaching to the test. He also provided detailed notes at the end of each lesson which were really useful for me to remember and reflect on what I had learned and what I needed to improve. For every lesson, he arrived with a plan to help me progress to the next stage, it was clear to me that he thinks deeply about his students and how best to progress them. He is also flexible when it comes to booking lessons and will try and accommodate you where he can. I would not hesitate to recommend Craig to anyone who needs driving lessons, you won’t regret it!

Craig is genuinely the best driving instructor that is around. He takes notes while you are driving, and explains each and every one of your mistakes in an extremely clear way. He uses reference points to allow you to complete difficult manoeuvres with ease. He never once went on his phone while teaching me in order to to find, track and explain my mistakes without missing anything important. As someone who has took lessons from previous instructors who answered phone calls instead of focusing on pointing out my mistakes, finding Craig was a blessing ! He is extremely professional and he treats all of your mistakes the same instead of brushing away minor mistakes and making them seem “minor”. I started learning how to drive for the first time with Craig a couple of months ago, with zero experience and not even knowing what the biting point was. It's fair to say it was a journey! Craig was honestly so patient and calm with me, even when I made some very ridiculous mistakes during my lessons. He never failed to tailor his explanations to my specific way of understanding, and he always made sure that I corrected any errors as soon as they occurred. One thing that really stood out to me is Craig's specific reference points in the different manoeuvres - they made everything so much more simple! His customer service is also brilliant - especially how easy-to-use his website and services are. He was also very efficient in booking me a test at my desired date and test centre, and ensured that I had an intensive skill build-up leading up to my practical exam. CJL was recommended to me by a friend who got her driving test the first time and had only praises for Craig’s teaching method and friendliness. I therefore got on board this driving journey with him and it has been a fantastic decision and a very enjoyable experience. After having driving lessons with Craig, and passing first time, I can’t recommend him enough. He was patient, clear in his teachings and made sure I was progressing every lesson. I would be able to look back at the notes from every lesson and make sure I was prepared for my next one. On the day of the test, we met beforehand to practice some of the areas I struggled in and got to the test centre nice and early. Overall a great experience

Craig is an incredibly nice and humble guy who managed to coach me to the point where I passed with 0 faults after only 25 hrs of driving. He would write notes with diagrams at the end of every lesson about what we had covered and how I could improve. This really helped as it would let me know where I was going wrong and enable me to revise the correct skills to pass the driving test. Additionally Craig was very patient, never losing his temper with me which is essential for a driving instructor as it only makes the client drive worse. In particular Craig was very calm and relaxing with me on my test day even when I was making mistakes, which ensured I was in a relaxed and confident state of mind to pass. Craig also ensured I stayed grounded and didn’t become complacent by being critical of my driving in the final lesson before my test. Overall it was a blessing to have found and be taught by Craig.
